Nursing: Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families and communities so they may attain, maintain or recover optional health and quality of life.

Nurse: Nurse is a highly skilled health care profession who combines the art of caring with scientific knowledge and skills developed through their education and career.
Qualification required to be a Nurse:
- One must passed SEE to get entry in Diploma or PCL Nursing.
- The person who has completed diploma in Nursing or the person who have successfully completed higher secondary education taking up the subject like chemistry, biology, physics, computer and mathematics can entry in the bachelor degree of Nursing.
- A person who has got the bachelor degree of Nursing can apply for Master in Nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities of Nurse:
- To provide medicine timely as prescribed by the doctor.
- To take care of patients.
- To suggest a patient, the food they can take.
- To suggest the family about the patients personal hygiene.
- To be available in the services whenever required.
